Information we collect

• Order information: name, shipping address, email, phone number, and the contents of your order.
• Payment confirmation: sender name used to send Zelle. We do not handle or store credit card data.
• Account / admin information: for staff members only — email and a securely hashed password.
• Technical information: server logs (IP address, browser, pages visited) collected automatically for security and operations.
• Cookies: a session cookie is used to maintain your shopping cart and keep admins signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use information

• To process and fulfill your order, including matching Zelle payments.
• To communicate about your order, payment, shipment, and customer support.
• To prevent fraud, secure the site, and comply with legal obligations.
• To improve the site, the catalog, and the customer experience.

Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the third parties strictly necessary to operate the site and ship your order: our hosting provider (Google Cloud), our shipping carriers (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx), and lawful government requests when required.

Data retention

Order records are retained for as long as required by tax and recordkeeping law (at least 7 years). Server logs and cart cookies are retained for shorter periods consistent with normal operations.

Your rights

You may request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@veramino.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note that some records (e.g. completed orders) must be retained to comply with tax and legal obligations.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a qualified researcher, laboratory professional, or otherwise legally authorized to purchase research chemicals. By placing an order, you represent that all the information you provide is accurate and that you accept these terms.

Research-use-only restriction

All products sold by Veramino are for laboratory and research use only. They are not intended for human consumption, veterinary use, or medical applications. You agree not to ingest, inject, apply to humans or animals, or otherwise misuse these products. Misuse of these products is strictly prohibited and is your sole responsibility.

Orders and pricing

All orders are offers to purchase and are subject to our acceptance. We may decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including for inventory, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. Prices are listed in US dollars and may change without notice.

Payment

Payment is made via Zelle to the recipient and amount specified at checkout. Include your order number in the Zelle message so we can match your transfer. Orders are reserved when placed and released if payment is not received and matched within the reservation window.

Intellectual property

All content on this site — text, images, logos, product descriptions, and code — is the property of Veramino LLC or its licensors and may not be copied, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without written permission.

Disclaimer of warranties

Products are sold "as is" for research purposes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

In no event shall Veramino LLC or its principals be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site or any product purchased here. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Veramino LLC from any claim arising from your misuse of any product, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State in which Veramino LLC is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Because our products are temperature- and integrity-sensitive research chemicals, all sales are final once the order has shipped. We do not accept returns of opened, used, or unsealed products.

Cancellations before shipment

If your order has not yet shipped, you may request a cancellation by contacting support@veramino.com with your order number. If your Zelle payment has already been received, we will refund it via Zelle to the same sender.

Damaged or defective items

If your shipment arrives damaged, or a product is defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the issue. Verified cases will be replaced at no charge or refunded at our discretion.

Lost packages

If tracking shows delivery but you have not received the package, please first check with neighbors, mailroom staff, and your shipping address. If still missing after 5 business days, contact us and we will work with the carrier on a claim.

Wrong item shipped

If we shipped the wrong product, contact us within 7 days of delivery and we will send the correct product and provide a return label for the incorrect one.

Where we ship

We currently ship to addresses within the United States. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Processing time

Orders begin processing once your Zelle payment has been received and matched by our team. Most orders ship within 1–3 business days of payment match. You will receive an email with tracking information once your order ships.

Carriers and timing

We typically ship via USPS Priority Mail, UPS, or FedEx depending on the destination and order weight. Most domestic shipments arrive within 2–5 business days after dispatch. Tracking numbers are sent automatically when your order ships.

Packaging

Orders ship in plain, protective packaging. There is no external Veramino branding on the outer box. Cold-sensitive products are shipped with appropriate insulation and ice packs as needed.

Address accuracy

Please double-check the shipping address you enter at checkout. We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If you spot an error, contact us immediately at support@veramino.com — we may be able to update it before shipment.
